Jeremy Clarkson is a bloke who is probably the envy of every other bloke out there (and a lot of bloke-esses, too, I would imagine): he gets to drive around in cool cars, demolish caravans and take part in ridiculous races that keep us entertained.
And he gets paid for it.
This book, which is dedicated to “everyone, except John Prescott”, is a collection of Clarkson’s Sunday Times motoring columns. They are packed with everything from his thoughts on God’s dumbest creation, the madness of Galapagos tortoises and the similarities between BBC presenter Jeremy Paxman and AC/DC’s bass guitarist.
Oh, and cars. There’s a lot about cars, with Clarkson offering up his unique views on anything with four wheels.
This is a fun read and easy to dip into when you have a spare few minutes.
