The Perfect Match,
by Katie Fforde (Random House, RRP $37):
This is Katie Fforde’s 20th novel and is a Sunday Times bestseller. One doesn’t have to read too many pages to discover why.
It’s basically a light-hearted love story with 20-something real estate agent, Bella, as the protagonist.
She’s been with Nevil for three years and now he’s proposed. However, he is also her boss and Bella is starting to wonder if Nevil is as honest as he would have everyone believe.
Enter an old flame and Bella’s life is set to change. There’s also a delightful subplot romance for Bella’s older landlady.
A rollicking good read with an eye-catching cover.
