Cracking read with plenty of surprises

One Step Too Far,

by Tina Seskis (Michael Joseph, RRP $37):

Emily Coleman wakes up one day and simply disappears: she walks away from an apparently happy family with her husband and son, her lovely home and lovely life.

But that seemingly happy life may not be all that it seems: Emily has a secret that no one has guessed.

The story is told by mixing present day with flashbacks, and it’s a fast-paced read, so pay attention or you’ll be left behind.

A delightful mix of jealously, greed, madness, sadness and more combines to make this a cracking read that had plenty of action and a good few surprises.
