I’m Travelling Alone, by Samuel Bjork: Published by Doubleday on August 1, with an RRP of $38. A six-year-old girl is found hanging from a tree. Around her neck is an airline tag which says ‘I’m travelling alone’. A special homicide unit in Oslo is re-opened and the race is on to stop a  revenge-driven serial killer.

Private Sydney, by James Patterson and Kathryn Fox: The latest installment in the “Private” series by the prolific Patterson. Out August 1 (Century, RRP $37).

Country, by Danielle Steel: Another offering from another prolific author. Out in August (Bantam Press, RRP $37).

NON-FICTION

The Big Book of Home Brew: A Kiwi Guide, by Michael Donaldson: Penguin is publishing this one-stop manual to brewing your own beer, written by Michael Donaldson, author of the best-selling Beer Nation: The Art and Heart of Kiwi Beer. Out on August 1.

The Healthy Life, by Jessica Sepel: How to have better everything (from skin to sleep) by Sydney-based health blogger, nutritionist and wellness coach Jessica Sepel. Published on August 1 by Macmillan (RRP $40).
