I grew up in a home where books were simply part of every day life thanks to the reading habits of my parents.
Their love of reading rubbed off on me and several of my siblings and as a result, I’ve always got at least one book on the go and often I’m working my way through two or three at once.
It’s probably quite fortunate then, that part of my job involves books: I’m the books editor at The Southland Times.
I review many of the books I read and that is what you will find here, along with the occasional story or rambling thoughts on what happening in the world of books.
