Tree-huggers should stop reading now

Stuff the Planet, by Peter Janssen with Malcolm Evans (Hachette Livre, $19.99):

Okay you tree-hugging, hairy armpit-toting hippies, look away now.

This book isn’t for you.

We’ve heard plenty about why global warming is a bad thing, but what about the flipside? Peter Janssen takes an irreverent look at global warming in this book, illustrated by Malcolm Evans.

It includes cartoons and words on the debate over whether or not global warming really exists and then goes on to offer suggestions on just how to speed up the effects of global warming so we can enjoy a longer summer, including the advice that we should all fart more to add more methane to the atmosphere.

Hey, it’s the sacrifice we must make if we want that long, hot summer we all dream about.
