Not a miracle cure but still inspiring

Author Barbara Wimhurst lost a whopping half of her body weight without fad diets, potions or expensive programmes.

She did it the old-fashioned way — by not eating junk. She’s lost 45kg while eating six times a day, having dessert every night and exercising just a few times a week.

Her book isn’t a miracle cure; it’s just common sense.

A self-described serial dieter, Wimhurst decided to take the bull by the horns two years ago, got serious about her daily food intake and watched the weight melt away.

While there’s nothing in her book that the average intelligent person won’t already know, it’s an inspiring read sure to boost anyone trying to lose weight.
